Our Believing Statements

Our Purpose Statement

Our church aims at bringing people to Christ, developing and equipping them for ministry work and the Great Commission, teach and train them to be Christ-like, in order to magnify God, as seen in

Acts 2:42-47.

Our Five Purposes

  1. We celebrate God's presence through Worship.
  2. We communicate God's word through Evangelism.
  3. We connect God's people through Fellowship.
  4. We educate God's people through Discipleship.
  5. We demonstrate God's love through Ministry (Service).

Our Vision

It is to expand God's Kingdom by converting and modelling people to reign as Kings and Priests of God on earth through the gospel of Jesus Christ

Revelations 5:10

'And has made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.'

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide an environment of teaching and learning for the saints, to teach them the infallible word of God, to disciple and equip them for ministry work and the great commission, and develop Christian leaders with Christian morals  through a variety of programs. And to expand the Christian faith community through Evangelism and worship services.

Luke 8:10

'To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God.'

Our Faith Statement (Summary)

We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of God's Will for the salvation of mankind, and the Divine and Final Authority for all Christian faith and life.

Our Statement of Faith

We believe:

  • The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of God's Will for the salvation of mankind, and the Divine and Final Authority for all Christian faith and life.
  • In one God, the Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
  • That man was created in the image and likeness of God but fell into sin, and is therefore lost and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
  • That Jesus Christ is true God and true Man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  • That Jesus Christ died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the scriptures, and He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into Heaven, where at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He now is our High Priest and advocate.
  • That the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provides the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and  only such as receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and become children of God.
  • That the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus, and during this age to convict man, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service.
  • In the baptism of the Holy Spirit to empower the believer for the works of God.
  • That water baptism and the Lord's Supper (Holy Communion) are ordinances to be observed by the Church.
  • That the true Church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit, baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and are united together in the Body of Christ of which He is Head.
  • That only those who are thus members of the true Church shall be illegible for membership in the local church.
  • That Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the Church, and that every local church has the right, as directed by Him, to decide and govern its own affairs.
  • In the sanctity of the Marriage Institution between a man and a woman as ordained by God.
  • In the personal coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and that this "blessed hope" has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.
  • In bodily resurrection of the dead: of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord; of the unbeliever to judgement and everlasting conscious punishment and torment.
